Chopper, no we actually just started playing like england, so for us now there is only improvement. But yeah the 2nd half was bitter, but a standard slovenian approach: "we lead them by 2:0, what can happen, we just lay down now and enjoy the cocktails ... wait WTF is going on, they're scoring, OMG OMG what do we do now, think think ... oh yeah off the hamakas and let's play..."

We would have lost if the ref. didnt' blow the whistle before that goal ( yeah only he know why he did that, althoug some US are saying we bribed him ... lol Slovenia hasn't got that much money you idiots, nor does this). But I must say I did not really enjoy the US way of playing, to me it seemed they let in the "soccer" team a bunch of guys from their football, because they did an awful lot of unpunished fouls. And they say we played roughly ... yeah, right...

But the ref can apply for a uk citizenship, he kept those yellow cards well away from the English players, although some fouls deserved one.

Funny I thought the ref in our game was the other extreme. I saw him yellow card one of our guys for just tackling the ball, and then he completely ignored an elbow in the face of one of ours in the second half. But I suppose you see what you want to see.

True, that was a bad call.

Anyway out of a pool of 2 mio population I think we got a really decent team, that gave a hard time to bigger teams (we even denied the WC to russia, in front of Putin, who came here to watch his team make an easy entry into the WC ). Against England they sure felt an enormous pressure, and the E team is of course stronger, we have to thank out goal keeper that the match did not end in a higher score for england.

Anyway The Sun can shove that EASY front page up their asses, because it was all but easy.

Congrats to England, you deserved it, now let's see what happens with germany.
